Non-bailable arrest warrant against Forward Bloc candidate

Bahrampore, Apr 4 (UNI) A local court today issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Forward Bloc candidate for Murshidabad assembly constituency Bivash Chakraborty in a murder case of a party colleague last year.

Chief Judicial Magistrate Court's session judge A K Paul issued the order following submission of a report by the sleuths of the CID, court sources said.

The CID report named FB leader in the murder case of party activist Sampad Das, who was shot dead at Bahrampore town on August 31, 2005.

The investigation of the murder case was given to the CID.

Meanwhile, Mr Chakraborty could not be contacted for his reaction to the murder charge.
