No relief from scorching heat in Delhi
New Delhi, Apr 4 (UNI) With the sun shining clear and bright and no sign of any clouds, there was no relief for the people of Delhi today from the scorching heat that has been characterising the weather over the past week.
The maximum temperature in the Capital today rose to to 36.2 Degree C, from 36.1 Degree C yesterday while the minimum temperature increased to 18.2 Degree C today.
The scorching heat left Delhiites perspiring, keeping many of them confined to the comfort of their homes or offices.
The coming days too are not expected to bring any relief to the people of Delhi from the hot weather with the weathermen forecasting a clear sky in the next 24 hours. The maximum temperature, they said, would remain at about 36 degree c, the same as today.
The BBC has also predicted the minimum temperature could rise to as high as 21 degree C on Saturday while forecasting a maximum temperature of 38 degree C on Friday. Some relief from the scorching heat could, however, be in the offing with the BBC predicting high-speed North Westerlies tomorrow.
