NDA govt "misleading" people - Lalu
Patna, Apr 4 (UNI) RJD supremo and Railway Minister Lalu Prasad today dubbed the whitepaper on financial status of Bihar, presented in the state Assembly by the NDA government, as ''confusing'' and alleged that the government was trying to cover up its 'failures' by juggling with data.
Mr Prasad told newspersons here that the publication of whitepaper was politically motivated and had been printed with the sole aim to malign the RJD regime.
He said instead of making developmental plans in coordination with the Opposition, the Nitish government was ''entangling'' people in the cobweb of ''misleading'' data.
By describing Bihar's status as critical, the NDA had shown its premature death even before its take off, he alleged and said the whitepaper indicated the NDA's helplessness.
Mr Prasad said the present government had not executed even a single work during four months and was surrendering Rs four to five thousand crore.
He said there was total blackout in entire north Bihar due to power crisis and the present incumbent had failed to give respite to the people.
He said the whitepaper had been prepared without a base year.
Mr Prasad suggested the state government to examine the affairs dispassionately rather than showing the RJD government in poor light.
