Mr Vidya Shankar elected as ISTE Treasurer

Bangalore, Apr 4: Mr S Vidya Shankar, Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Bangalore Institute of Technology was elected to the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) Executive Council from Karnataka.

Mr Vidya Shankar has been elected as Treasurer of ISTE for a two year term (2006-08), according to a release here.

ISTE, which has 53,000 life members and 1,25,000 student members assists and contributes in the production and development of top quality professional engineers and technicians needed by industries and other organisations.
