Man kills wife working in bar
Mumbai, Apr 4 (UNI) A man allegedly killed his wife, who worked in a bar, at MHADA (Maharashtra Housing Area Development Authority) colony in Jogeshwari Western suburb late last night.
Police said Anjali Mandal (25) who worked at a bar in Chembur Eastern suburb, and her husband Pamla (28) used to have frequent quarrels over petty issues as he was suspicious of her character.
When Anjali came from the bar late last night, the couple again had a heated argument following which Pamla slit his wife's throat with a knife. Pamla, however, fled from the scene after committing the crime.
MIDC (Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation) police have registered a case against the accused and have launched a search to nab him.
