Gulbarga, Hyd police question LeT operative Shahi

Hyderabad, Apr 4 (UNI) Gulbarga and Hyderabad police intensively questioned Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) operative Shahi Ahmed Shah alias Abdul Rehman, the main suspect in the Bangalore IISc bomb blast case.

Shahi was brought to Hyderabad by Gulbarga police early on Monday with tight security and taken to internet kiosks at Narayanaguda and Vijayanagar, from where he reportedly sent photographs of Nagarjunasagar Dam, a possible target, to his handlers in Pakistan.

He was also taken to Talabkatta and Kanchanbagh area, on suspicion that he stayed in those areas to contact his Pakistani links. Later, the Gulbarga police took Shahi back to Karnataka.

Some Hyderabad police officials have accompanied himm to that state for further interrogation about his contacts in this city.
