Four arrested in varsity paper leakage case

Surat, Apr 4: Four students were arrested here today in connection with the leakage of South Gujarat University examination question paper.

At least 9,000 students could not take the B Com final year examination yesterday after the varsity registrar complained to the police that one of the examination papers had leaked.

The arrested have been identified as Gautam Barward (Amroli Commercial college), Martin Patel and Jaydeep Palavwala (Barthana college) and constable Vinu Barward, posted at Kabodara police station, who is also a private student of Akhandanand college.

Investigation into the case is on, police said.
