Ex shopping mall employee arrested on theft charges

Pune, Apr 4 (UNI) Police today arrested a person who allegedly stole Rs six lakh from a shopping mall in the city over a period of time.

Sanjay Pote (26), the arrested person, had been employed by the mall but had been removed from service last month, police said.

Pote allegedly siphoned off Rs six lakh from the mall over a period of time during his employment there, police said. An amount of Rs 1.50 lakh has been recovered from Pote, police said.
