DMK replaces candidate for Bhavani Sagar

Chennai, Apr 4 (UNI) The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) today announced change in the candidate for the Bhavani Sagar constituency.

DMK President M Karunanidhi, in a statement here said Mr Jeeva O Subramaniam will contest from the constituency instead of Ms Geeta Natarajan.

The change was necessitated as Ms Natarajan expressed her inability to contest the polls due to family circumstances, he added.

In a letter to Mr Karunanidhi, Ms Natarajan said she will continue to work for the party and extend fullest coopertion for the victory of the candidate fielded in the constituency by the party.
