Devotees throng Ram temple prototype for glimpse
Ayodhya, Apr 4: The exquisite model of the proposed Ram temple is a big draw among devotees visiting Ayodhya for the ongoing Chaitra Ramnavmi Mela.
The thermocol model laced with marble powder and adorned with 51,000 miniature bulbs is housed at the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) headquarters, Karsewakpuram.
A long queue of devotees and visitors can be seen lined up for a glimpse of the model during daytime.
VHP media in-charge Sharad Sharma said the model was first kept at the Mahakumbh Mela, Prayag in 2001 and later installed at Karsewakpuram in December same year amid chanting of holy hymns.
