Dentsu hires coca cola's pankaj thapar as group CFO

Mumbai, Apr 4 (UNI) Dentsu India, a global communications power house, today announced the appointment of Pankaj Thapar as group CFO of its India and middle-east operations. Pankaj joins Dentsu from Coca-Cola, where he spent almost a decade in various senior operating, accounting and finance positions.

The entire finance and accounts functions of Dentsu's three agencies in India, and its new agency in Dubai, will report to Pankaj Thapar from April 1, said the company release.

An MBA -Finance from FMS- Delhi (1984), Pankaj started his career with ICICI before moving to Citibank and subsequently to Grindlays Bank, mostly in investment banking and mergers and acquisitions. He then moved to Coca-Cola where he worked for almost 10 years, prior to moving to Dentsu.
