Court rejects bail application of MLA's son

Shahdol, MP, Apr 4 (UNI) A local court has rejected the bail application of BJP MLA Chhotelal Saraogi's son Raja alias Rajkumar who is charged in an attempt to murder case.

Raja allegedly tried to crush Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Deputy Secretary Raghavendra Singh, a former collector, under a jeep in Budhaar Stadium during Holi this year.

Following Mr Singh's complaint, a case was registered under section 307 of the Indian Penal Code. The bail application was rejected yesterday after Raja surrendered in court.
