BJP workers protest over seat to Dharmarajan

Pondicherry, Apr 4 (UNI) Dissatisfied over the allocation of Ozhukarai constituency to Dr Dharmarajan, a group of BJP workers today began an indefinite fast in the party office here.

The BJP workers began their fast around 1830 hrs after the list of the candidates was announced.

The agitated workers contended that the party had allotted the seat to Dr Dharmarajan, who joined the BJP only at the time of the last Lok Sabha elections ignoring Paadum Nila, who had strived for the development of the party here.

They demanded the party should announce Mr Nila as the candidate.
