Bangla dacoit gang busted
Indore, Apr 4: The Madhya Pradesh Police have arrested four Bangladeshi nationals who comprised an international gang that committed several dacoities in various localities here since December.
They accused shifted to Delhi, a day or two after every dacoity, and then proceed to Bangladesh to dispose of the loot,'' Inspector-General (Indore Range) Shailendra Srivastava said yesterday.
Special police teams were formed and fanned out to Delhi, Kolkata and Katihar in Bihar after some clues were obtained. Mobile phones, jewellery, cameras and watches were recovered.
Those apprehended included Mohammad Sultan alias Hameed, Mohammad Sultan alias Phookan, Kamal alias Nazar, Ilyas and Muneer all of whom were aged between 18 and 23 years. They had criminal records in Delhi as well. Three principal members were absconding.
