ASTPL bags first prize in Reliance Mobile Application contest

Indore, Apr 4 (UNI) City-based Astute Systems Technology Pvt Ltd (ASTPL) has bagged the first prize in developing Hanuman Chalisa Mobile Application in Mobile Application Contest, 2005, launched by Reliance Info.

''The Hanuman Chalisa application developed by Astute is the first of its kind client server-based mobile application that has both Hindi and English options,'' said ASTPL Founder and Chairman Vijay Kumar Jain.

The application, which also offers options of brief and detailed description with translation, will be launched on 'R World' feature on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti for devotees.

ASTPL team was in the process of developing Chalisa series, which will include Shiv Chalisa, Durga Chalisa, Ganesh Chalisa, Saraswati Chalisa and Shani Chalisa, he said.

Mr Kumar added that the ASTPL's devotional and gaming applications will be soon available in all regional languages.

Trivandrum-based Tinfo Mobile Pvt Ltd and Limited Edition from New Delhi were adjudged as first runner up and second runner up respectively.
