AP teachers to boycott SSE spot valuation

Hyderabad, Apr 4 (UNI) Over 3.5 lakh school teachers in Andhra Pradesh will boycott spot valuation of answer sheets of SSE students beginning April eight to press their ten-point charter of demands.

Announcing this at a press conference here today, Joint Action Committee of Teachers Organisation-Andhra pradesh Steering Committee Member B Mohan Reddy said the demands included sanction of two notional increaments to 1.52 lakh apprentice teachers, application of unified service rules to tribal and muncipal teachers,regularisation of Special Vidya Volunteers from March 2005 and implmentation of old pension rules to the volunteers among others.
