Another Congress councillor, policeman killed in Kashmir

Srinagar, Apr 4 (UNI) Congress councillor and a police constable were killed by militants in the Kashmir valley today, official sources said.

They said Wali Mohammad War was shot at and critically wounded by militants at the main chowk in north Kashmir.

The councillor succumbed to his injuries before he could be shifted to the hospital, the sources added.

Two days back militants shot dead another Congress councillor at Sopore in this district.

The sources said militants kidnapped a police head constable Ghulam Rasool Jan of Pampore police station last night and later killed him today.
