663 qualify for Engineering Services Interview

New Delhi, Apr 4 (UNI) As many as 663 candidates have qualified for interview in the Engineering Services Examination (II) conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in June last year.

The successful candidates include 238 from Other Backward Classes, 99 from Scheduled Castes, 74 from Scheduled Tribes and 10 from disabled category, UPSC said today.

The candidates will now attend the interview for appointment to various government departments in the civil, mechanical, electrical and electronics and telecom branches of engineering.

UPSCS said detailed application forms would be issued to all qualified candidates shortly. Those candidates who don't receive the application forms by the second week of April should contact the Commission on telephone number 011-23387402 or on Fax number 011-23387310, it said.
