Wipro Infotech wins Rs 360 crore IT outsourcing biz from HDFC Bank

Mumbai, April 03 (UNI) Wipro Infotech has bagged a Rs 360 crore contract for providing comprehensive IT outsourcing services to HDFC Bank to be implemented over a period of 10 years.

Considered to be the largest outsourcing deal in India, it includes provisioning of IT infrastructure on build own operate basis for existing and new branches of HDFC Bank, said a release issued by the company to BSE.

The company will provide comprehensive infrastructure management services for data center, networks and end user equipments. The entire engagement will be managed under the company's program governance framework, which incorporates ITIL processes for service management and six sigma for continuous improvement.
