Three US marines, sailor killed in Iraq

BAGHDAD, Apr 3 (Reuters) Three US marines and a sailor were killed in action yesterday in Iraq's western Anbar province, the US military today said.

A military statement gave no further details.

The attack came after a US helicpter was shot down on Saturday south of Baghdad. The two pilots are presumed dead.

The 29 US military deaths in March were the lowest since February 2004.
