Six poachers arrested for hunting deer
Nagpur, Apr 3 (UNI) Six poachers from Barhanpur in Madhya Pradesh were arrested today for hunting a deer in the Khamgaon forest range under Buldana district in Vidarbha region, the police said.
When contacted, police told UNI that the six persons arrested under the Wild Life Protection Act had been identified as Karim Ullah Khan Ansari, Taalim Khan Abdul Ansari, Irfan Ullah Ansari, Abdul Malik, Mohammad alias munna bhai and Amaanullah Ansari, all residents of Barhanpur.
After illegally hunting the deer, all the six poachers tried to escape in a vehicle, which was impounded along with the venison with their arrest, police added.
