New Delhi, Apr 3 (UNI) The Delhi High Court today summoned Army Chief General J J Singh to be personally present in the court on May 25 on a contempt petition filed by Sultan Singh for not abiding by the order for his reinstatement.

A division bench headed by Justice M K Sharma asked General Singh to be present in the court to explain the reasons for not reinstating Sultan Singh, who was working as a soldier with the Indian Army.

The Court had directed the Indian Army to reinstate Singh holding his dismissal illegal and unauthorised last year.
