RCF, Ministry of Chemicals

Mumbai, Apr 03 (UNI) Public sector undertaking Rashtriya Chemicals&Fertilizers Ltd (RCF) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the financial year 2006-07 with the Union Ministry of Chemicals&Fertilisers for higher production of 22.75 lakh mt of fertilizers with reduced energy consumption.

The MOU for the year 2006-07 was signed by department of fertilizers secretary Madhukar Gupta on behalf of government and RCF chairman and managaing director U S Jha.

More thrust has been given to R&D activities, implementation of projects and customer satisfaction in the MOU. Accordingly, study of total waste management system, feedback evaluation on customer satisfaction, bio-fertilizer production, cent per cent water soluble fertilizer for fertigation have been given importance in the MOU.

the company has been signing MOU with the government since the year 1988-89 and has received highest rating of 'excellent' since several years, said a company release.
