Rajnath justified Sanjay Joshi's reinduction

New Delhi, Apr 3 (UNI) BJP president Rajnath Singh today justified the decision to reinduct Mr Sanjay Joshi as General Secretary of the party and said there was no differences within the party on the issue.

Talking to UNI, the BJP President refuted news reports that there was opposition from the supporters of Leader of Opposition L K Advani and said that one should not forget that Mr Joshi was cleared by the Central Forensic Laboratory situated in Congress ruled Andhra Pradesh after a thorough examination of the controversial Compact Discs.

The objections and doubts raised by the Congress did not hold water, he added.

Mr Joshi had resigned from the General Secretaryship of the party in December during the BJP's Silver Jubilee session after CDs portraying him in poor light surfaced.

Mr Singh had been keeping this post vacant although he constituted his team of office bearers after he assumed office three months ago.
