Rajasthan farmers to protest against WTO policies in Delhi

Jaipur, Apr 3 (UNI) Farmers from Rajasthan will congregate in Delhi on April 6 to protest against WTO's polices in the presence of visting Director General of WTO Pascal Lami.

Centre for Community Economics and Developmemt Consultant Society's (CECOEDECON) secretary Sharad Joshi said here today the farmers will gather at Pragati Maidan to protest against unfair trade practises and will hand over a memorundam to Mr Lami.

It is to be noted that a 18-member team of CECOEDECON had visited Hong Kong last November during the WTO conference trying to make them aware about the need to carry on fair trade practises in Rajasthan.
