Police seizes explosives from KRA, NSCN cadre apprehended

Imphal, Apr 3(UNI) Imphal East police apprehended a NSCN(IM) here, the Superintantdent of Police said.

The SP said the NSCN cadre was held in Imphal East area yesterday.

Meanwhile, a Kuki Revolutionary Army (KRA) cadre was also apprehended and explosives weighing about 6.5 kg seized.

Police further reported that a man was killed in a brawl over land dispute at Sekmaijin followed by burning the houses of the alleged attackers.

Goods worth about Rs 17 lakhs were destroyed, police said.
