Police apprehend an NSCN cadre, explosives seized

Imphal, Apr 3(UNI) Imphal East police have apprehended an NSCN(IM) activist here, the Superintendent of Police said.

The SP said the NSCN cadre was held in Imphal East area yesterday. Meanwhile, a Kuki Revolutionary Army(KRA) cadre was also arrested and explosives weighing about 6.5 kg seized.

Police further reported that a man was killed in a brawl over land dispute at Sekmaijin followed by burning the houses of the alleged attackers.

Goods worth about Rs 17 lakhs were destroyed, police said.
