Police seize bombs from NSCN cadre

Imphal, Apr 3: Imphal East police have apprehended an NSCN(IM) activist here, the Superintendent of Police said.

The SP said the NSCN cadre was held in Imphal East area yesterday. Meanwhile, a Kuki Revolutionary Army(KRA) cadre was also arrested and explosives weighing about 6.5 kg seized.

Police further reported that a man was killed in a brawl over land dispute at Sekmaijin followed by burning the houses of the alleged attackers.

Goods worth about Rs 17 lakhs were destroyed, police said.
