No decision yet on international tie-ups: RIL

New Delhi, Apr 3 (UNI) Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) today said no decision has been made yet on the international equity tie-up with Reliance Petroleum, but added that the industrial giant is in discussions with several global players in this regard.

In a statement, RIL said these discussions cover several proposals, inlcluding tie-ups on technical support, supply of crude oil/raw material, purchase of finished goods etc.

''Some industry majors have also shown interest in minority stake in RPL either through fresh issue of equity shares by RPL or through sale of part of RPL equity shares held by RIL,.'' the statement said.

All these propsals are under discussion and RIL/RPL will make necessary disclosures and seek regulators approvals if recquired.

The statement assumes significance after reports that Chevron and other US oil companies have shown keen interest in sharing a slice of RPL.
