Metro services disrupted in Kolkata
Kolkata, Apr 03 (UNI) Metro Railway services in the city were affected thrice because of different incidents today causing some inconvenience to passengers.
In the first incident, a Tollygunj-bound train which left Dum Dum at 1230 Hours, was detained at Park Street station for which 7 minutes after its alarm chair was pulled by some passengers following an electrical flash.
In the second incident a Tollygunj-bound train scheduled to leave from Dum Dum at 13:40 hours was cancelled due to mechanical problem in the incoming rake at Dum Dum siding while in the third incident a Dum Dum-bound train which left Tollygunj at 14:00 hours was detained at Rabindra Sadan station for 8 minutes after smoke was noticed from a coach. However, the train left with passengers for Dum Dum, Metro Railway sources here said.
