K'taka HC Bench issue: Lawyers boycott court proceedings

Hubli, Apr 3 (UNI) Members of the Hubli Bar Association today boycotted court proceedings demanding that the Karnataka Government choose a place between Hubli and Dharwad for setting up the circuit Bench of the Karnataka High Court.

They also resorted to a road block for over an hour. Later they held a meeting and decided to boycott court proceedings till April 12 to press for their demand.

The government had decided to commence construction work for the Bench at premises of the Water and Land Management Institute in Dharwad.
