Haryana's most wanted arrested
New Delhi, Apr 3 (UNI) The number two most wanted criminal in Haryana, carrying a reward of 25,000 on his head, has been arrested by the police from Moti Nagar area of West Delhi.
A top operative of the dreaded Kishan Pehalwan gang, Sanjay Tyagi was arrested yesterday while he was waiting for his associate to loot a petrol pump, DCP (West) Robin Hibu told mediapersons today.
''Involved in the October last murder of the nephew of a former Haryana minister, Tyagi is involved in more than 14 cases of murder, 'supari' killing, kidnapping for ransom and Gangsters Act among others across the states of Haryana, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh,''the DCP said.
An imported pistol and two live cartridges were recovered from his possession, he added.
A resident of Bahardurgarh in neighbouring Haryana, Tyagi was being trailed by both Haryana and Delhi police, Mr Hibu said.
