Fake stamp paper accused to be produced before court on April 17

Pune, Apr 3 (UNI) The MCOCA court here today directed the Yerawada Jail authorities to produce all 65 arrested in connection with the multi-crore fake stamp paper scam, before it on April 17.

Kingpin of the scam Abdul Karim Telgi's counsel Adv Milind Pawar said the 65 accused will be produced before the court of judge B N Sardeshpande. Pending bail applications will be disposed of on April 10.

Meanwhile, the CBI has deposited the CD in which Telgi reportedly has mentioned names of politicians and ministers to whom he had provided money. The CD also reportedly contains details of those who visited him in the Karnataka jail. The CD will be opened before the court on April 17.

In another disclosure, MLA Anil Gote, in a video conference with the MOCCA judge, revealed that the laptop belonging to Telgi and seized by the CBI, is missing. Telgi had recorded important financial transcation with various people in the laptop.
