Written by: Staff

Ahmedabad, Apr 03 (UNI) Former Gujarat Chief Minister Keshubhai Patel today welcomed the decision to reinstate senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sanjay Joshi, who had resigned from general secretary's (organisation) post in the wake of the circulation of sleazy CDs, to the post.

Mr Patel, in a statement here, congratulated Mr Joshi for having his name cleared by the Madhya Pradesh police in the CD controversy Mr Patel further added that the clean chit to Mr Joshi and his reinstatement has proven that those who conspired against him had failed in their motives.

''Ultimately the truth has prevailed and I am wishing Mr Joshi good luck in discharging the responsibilities given to him by the Party,'' Mr Patel added.

Meanwhile, BJP MLA Gordhanbhai Zadafia, an another supporter of Keshubhai, in a statement said that with the clean chit to Mr Joshi, the first episode of the incident has got over, but the second part of who conspired in the CDs controversy and why was yet to be ascertained. The real culprits should be brought to light.
