Dutt allowed to vist US

Mumbai, Apr 3 (UNI) A TADA court today allowed Bollywood actor and a serial blast accused Sanjay Dutt to visit the United States for 3 weeks to participate in the various shows organised by Nargis Dutt foundation.

Designated Tada Judge P D Kode in his order directed Dutt not to misuse the liberty given to him and also furnish details of his visit to the US, including his local contact number, to the Registrar of the TADA court.

While granting permission from today to April 21, the court directed him not to contact any absconding accused, either personally or telephonically, and also not to make any attempt to tamper with the evidences available against him.

He was further told that during his visit to the US, his lawyer should be present in court to represent him.

Dutt was granted bail by the Apex cpourt for his alleged involvement in the 1993 serial bomb blast case with the condition that he shall not leave the city of Mumbai without the permission of the court.

Dutt who is being charged for allegedly possessing an AK57 rifle in a notified area was earlier granted permission to visit the United States on two occasions after he was released on bail. On one occasion, he went for receiving hair treatment and on the other occasion, he was allowed to meet his daughter Trishala, who is studying there after her mother Richa Sharma passed away.
