Dr Reddy's launches "Z

Hyderabad, Apr 3 (UNI) Dr Reddy's has launched ''Z&D''- a Zinc Sulphate formulation indicated as adjuvant therapy along with ORS in the management of Acute and persistent diarrhoea.

Available in 10 and 20 mg dispersible orange flavoured tablets as well as in 10mg/ml and 20mg/ml Dry Syrup for paediatric use, this product is intended to supplement the ORS (Oral Rehydration Salt) market, a company release said.

''Z&D'' has been launched nationwide and will be available for prescription by mid April 2006. A series of activities will also be held across the country in the form of CMEs (Continuing Medical Education), Patient Education Programmes, Awareness Camps and Social Mobilization Events like ORS Marathons.
