Panaji, Apr 3 (UNI) The search operation by the Indian Coast Guard fleet, including a helicopter and two rescue ships and a fast patrol boat, to locate six missing crew members of a fishing vessel off Vengurla coast in neighbouring Maharashtra last week is still underway.

The authorities had activated international safety net and informed all the merchant ships passing through the area for keeping an eye to rescue the missing crew, if noticed.

Even local fishermen, who had on the fateful evening rescued two others, continued their search for the fellow fishermen from Goa who went for fishing in vessel 'Sea Master', official sources today said.

The vessel sank in the waters following a hit by a passing ship last week.

The two rescued were recovering, sources added.
