BJP to highlight 5 issues in 'Bharat Suraksha Yatra'
Hyderabad, Apr 4: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Senior Leader and in charge of the twin yatras of L K Advani and BJP President Rajnaath Singh, titled ''Bharat Surakhsha Yatra'', M Venkaiah Naidu yesterday said the 'yatras' would highlight five issues on the UPA Government's ''divisive politics on religion basis in the country''.
Addressing the press here, Mr Naidu said the five issues included safeguarding the nation from ''Jihadi'' movement and Left wing extremism, defending national unity from divisive politics and rescuing the country from corruption and criminalisation.
The other two issues were to save Parliamentary democracy and protect farmers and poor from anti-government policies.
Stating the yatra would be launched on April six on the eve of 'Srirama Navami' by Mr Advani and Mr Singh and end on May ten in New Delhi on the occasion of completion of 149 years of the First War of Independence, he said Mr Advani would visit ten states coveing 6000 km and Mr Singh would traverse 12 states covering 5,500 km as part of the yatra.
