BJP expresses full faith in me : Sanjay Joshi

Nagpur, Apr 3 (UNI) Re-appointed BJP General Secretary Sanjay Joshi today said his reinduction by the party President Rajnath Singh showed the faith expressed in him by his seniors.

At a hurriedly convened press conference following his re-appointment, Mr Joshi refused to reply to a volley of questions. ''My duty is to carry out the work assigned honestly.

This is enough for the day,'' he said.

Mr Joshi, who was the RSS points-man in BJP, had resigned as the high profile BJP General Secretary as well as Sangh 'Pracharak' in the midst of party's national convention in Mumbai in December last year in the wake of the sleaze CD conroversy.'' RSS General Secretary Mohan Bhagwat too reinstated Mr Joshi as the ''pracharak'' yesterday describing it as part and parcel of the institution of Pracharaks.

Mr Joshi said all the controversies regarding his alleged involvement in the sleaze CD had been cleared when the Madhya Pradesh police exonerated him from the charge terming the CD a tempered one and his innocence had been proved.

Rajya Sabha member Balsaheb Apte felicitated him at the press conference held at the office of BJP here.
