Hyderabad, Apr 3 (UNI) BJP former President and Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu today demanded that the Congress led government pass a resolution on Telangana in the Assembly and prove its sincerity as promised during the Assembly elections in the state.

Speaking to newspersons here, Mr Naidu alleged that the 'Telangana Rastra Samithi'' (TRS), which was a coalition partner of the Congress during the elections, had cheated the people of Telangana and they had no sincerity in solving the issue.

Stating that the BJP President Rajnaath Singh has already announced the party's stand that the BJP would support the bill in Parliament, he said ''the national executive would discuss the Telangana issue and prepare a plan of action for the movement led by the party''.
