Benfica's injured Gomes to miss Barcelona match
LISBON, Apr 3 (Reuters) Benfica striker Nuno Gomes will miss the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Barcelona on Wednesday because of a knee injury.
Gomes, who was substituted in the first half of Saturday's 2-1 Premier League win at Belenenses, strained his left knee during the game, the Portuguese club said on its website.
He is likely to be sidelined for the next three weeks.
Benfica drew the first leg against Barcelona 0-0 in Lisbon last week. Gomes missed that match through suspension.
