Aditya Birla Group's cement despatches for March'06 10.87 pc

Mumbai, Apr 3 (UNI) Aditya Birla group's cement production for March this year grew by 12.72 per cent at 28.53 lakh mt, while despatches rose by 10.87 per cent at 28.62 lakh mt, over March last year.

During the April-March'06 period, the Group's cement production stood at 285.81 lakh mt up by 8.78 per cent vis-a-vis 262.74 lakh mt during April-March'05, said an official release here.

Its despatches during this period stood at 285.85 lakh mt reflecting a rise of 8.85 per cent as against 262.60 lakh mt during April-March'05.
