23 file nominations for third phase of polling

Kolkata, Apr 3 (UNI) Altogether 23 candidates today filed nomination for third phase of Assembly elections in four districts of West Bengal.

Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Debasish Sen said 16 people filed nomination in South 24 Parganas while seven and one aspirants submitted papers respectively in North 24 Parganas and Kolkata South. However, Kolkata North-West drew a blank with no person filing nomination.

Filing of nomination for the third phase of elections, to be held on April 27, began on April one. The process will continue till April eight.
