2 persons die in road accident

Davanagere, Apr 3(UNI) Two persons were killed and another was sustained serious injuries when a two wheeler in which they were travelling was run over by a private bus near Channagiri in Karnataka about 60-km from here this evening.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Panduranga Shahu, told UNI that the incident occurred when the trio were on their way to their farm house from Nellur village in Channagiri taluk.

The injured had been admitted to district hospital here and the driver of the bus has been arrested.
