Three persons were killed in road accident

Mysore, Apr 2 (UNI) Three persons were killed and 14 others injured when a tractor in which they were travelling overturned near Melakote in Mandya district today.

Police said the victims were returning in the tractor after attending a festival at Melkote hills when the mishap occurred.

The victims were identified as Yogaiah(40), Anusuya(30) and Sunil Kumar(11) of Gowdanagere in Pandavapura Taluk.

All the injured persons were admitted to Pandavapura government hospital. Of them, the condition of the four injured were stated to be serious, police added.
