Speaking on the purpose of the Yatra, he said Ram Rath Yatra was taken out to support temple issue in Ayodhya whereas Bharat Suraksha Yatra was a public awareness campaign against increasing terrorism, naxalite movement and Maoist activities in the country.
The naxalite movement in India had grown eigthfold in Congress' regime due to its wrong policies. Besides, terrorism and Maoist activities had gained an upper hand in 15 states of the country which the Congress had totally failed to curb, he added.
