Kumudam founder and Publisher Parthasarathy is dead
Chennai, Apr 2: P V V Parthasarathy, founder and Publisher of the popular Tamil weekly magazine ''Kumudam'', died here this morning after a brief illness.
He was 83. He is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.
Mr Parthasarathy had been suffering from age-related complications. He died at around 0330 hrs at his residence this morning, family and magazine sources told UNI.
Mr Parthasarathy along with Mr S A P Annamalai founded the magazine in 1947.
His son P Varadharajan is the Managing Director of Kumudam.
The funeral would take place on April 4.
