NTR varsity counselling for PG courses to begin Apr 3

Vijayawada, Apr 2 (UNI) The NTR University of Health Sciences (NTR-UHS) will hold counselling for admission to post graduate medical courses in the university campus from tomorrow.

University Vice Chancellor R Sambasiva Rao said the university will fill 904 PG seats available in nine government and four private medical colleges across the state between April three and nine.

The university will follow the roster system with slight change to enable the first ranker to a seat of his or her choice. Prof Rao said 250 candidates will be given counselling and as many as 100 seats filled each day.

The physically challenged candidates should report to medical board on the university campus at 0800 hrs tomorrow to enable confirmation of the status of disability as per the guidelines of Medical Council of India.

Those selected in the counselling will have to join the courses on or before April 13 in the respective colleges.

Seats available and university-wise roster points will be posted on the university website for the benefit of candidates, he added.
