New Delhi, Apr 2 (UNI) There was no relief for the people of Delhi today from the scorching heat that has been characterising the weather over the last few days even though clouds hovered over the skyline during the day.

Despite a slight drop in minimum temperature in the Capital to 17.5 degree Celsius from 18.3 Deg Celsius yesterday, the maximum temperature remained at around 37 degree Celsius, the same as yesterday, which was nearly three degrees above normal.

As the scorching heat left Delhiites perspiring, the weathermen forecast that the coming days too would not bring any relief from the hot weather even though they predicted a partly cloudy sky in the capital in the next 24 hours.

The maximum temperature, they said, would continue to remain at around 37 Degree Celsius tomorrow as well.

The BBC has also predicted that by and large sunny weather conditions would prevail in the capital over the next week.
