Khurana's arrest demanded under NSA

New Delhi, Apr 2 (UNI) Describing the sealing of commercial units in Delhi as per the Supreme court order as an in the interest of the people, the Sangharsh Bharti Mitra has called for the arrest of former Delhi CM Madan Lal Khurana under the National Security Act ''for obstructing the sealing operation and instigating people''.

In a statement, here, the general secretary of the body Rajendra Gupta said,''thanks to the unholy nexus of the builders' mafia, the Delhi police and MCD engineers, the capital has today become a jungle of unauthorised constructions. Over the years, huge shops and showrooms have come up on Government land obtained at concessional rates with the result that the property rates have skyrocketed over the years making it almost impossible for a common man to bulld his own house.'' ''In this sense, the sealing operation being carried out is in the interest of the people and since Mr Khurana is breaking the law by obstructing the same, he should be arrested under NSA as nobody is above the law,''Mr Gupta said.
